Starting to get things back to Normal ... Christines Backpack project

Hey everyone,

So sorry about all of the mixup with not posting, I am finally getting things back to normal I still have alot of cleaning to do in the basement from the flood BUT my upstairs is livable now :).

Here is a wonderful project from Christine

My name is Christine Marshall and I'm live in Westlock, Alberta. I have 2 adult daughters and 4 step children with my wonderful fiancee Adam. My day job is in finance but my true passion is in paper crafting. I have been scrap booking for approximately 8 years. It all started by being asked to make 250 High School Graduation invitations for my daughter's class. My first experience in making layouts occurred when a close friend passed away and I was asked to assist in putting together a memorial scrapbook of his short life.I have been a Close To My Heart Independent consultant for 5 years and love, love, love to use their clear stamps on my projects. Out of all the paper crafts I love to make all kinds of 3D items.

SO SORRY

I would like to send a BIG apology to everyone for not posting lately as some of you may have wondered why there was no posts, or why your featured post was not posted.I only had my cell with me and couldn’t post on blogger till now.My hot water tank busted on the weekend and flooded my basement. My office and scrapbook room are down there sadly my computer camera and about 5 of my dcwv stack were damaged along with a cricut cartridge, all the furniture and many other things. I had to move everything out of my basement assap and stay in a hotel for the night because the water and humidity was intense. As some of you may already know I am on my own with my two year old while my hubby is serving overseas and I have no family or friends close by so yes its up to me to do EVERYTHING. I plan to continue to show all of the posts once I get my house somewhat under control. Hopefully within the next week things will be back to normal. I am so sorry please forgive me but being a mommy and dealing with this is at the top of my list right now.
Thanks for understanding

Wonderful layout Aug 27th

I'm Carolyn from Regina and welcome to Canadian Paper Trail! I'm happy to be a part of this group of creative people from all over Canada & I hope you find some inspiration here.

We've just done our back to school shopping and I'm wondering what grade 6 is going to be like for my girl. This project was perfect for getting these photos done - the first and last days of grade 5.

What a bittersweet time of year - sad to see her gone all day again, but glad for a little space for myself, sad to see my little girl growing up, but excited to see who she's becoming. My blog is not all scrapbooking, but you are welcome to drop by and stay a while! http://rhyminggame.blogspot.com/

Day #8 Heathers lunch box project

Sorry this is Jess up all night with a tooth ache so i was a bit late posting this morning your going to love Heathers project

Hi! My name is Heather and I have been officially paper crafting for about 8 years now, both scrapbooking and card making. I work part time at a local craft store so that definitely helps to feed my addiction.... :) !

For my Back-to-School project I chose to do these cool notecard holders. Wouldn't it be so cute if you placed them in your child's lunchbox and they found a different note from you every few days. Details for creating these are on my blog

Day # 7 Back to school card

Hi there, my name is Tanis, I am a Mom of 2 from Oshawa, Ontario. With the new school year fast approaching, I thought a Back 2 School card would be a lot of fun to try. This is my very first “school” themed card, and it got the stamp of approval from my 4yr old daughter that is starting Jr Kindergarten this fall. When I was a kid I always loved recess, it was a nice break in the day where you could have fun and make new friends. Thank you very much for looking and have a great day!

hope on over to her blog
